Hola Amigos,

Today we went San Jose de Villanueva to paint houses. Mike and Susie Jenkins organized this project for the community they live in and we had help from a local Rotaractor, Diego. The houses were built by another Interact group from New Hampshire and the families chose the colours their new homes would be. By the end we were covered in pinks, peaches, greens and blues. The families were very grateful for our help; we took pictures with the third and last family where the father was so grateful he had tears. We will be going back to finish four more houses on Wednesday.

Following our hard work we went to swim and eat dinner at Los Bambues. We used underwater cameras to get some great pictures. Near the end we played some memory games and Allison and Ashley proved their skills. Then back to the hotel to get the paint off!
